As an award-winning filmmaker, development executive, and creative director the art of storytelling for Cole is about the empowerment of human life.

The intersection of global cultures and the human spirit lies the canvas for Cole's storytelling. From the Himalayan foothills to the rice fields of the Philippines, his directorial lens has crafted narratives for giants like YouTube Originals, Snapchat, VICE, Facebook, Google, Nike, and The Olympics. But it's not just about the views (which amount to hundreds of millions) or the accolades (including 20 in their 20’s, Cannes Silver, Gold Tellys, a Clio Entertainment Award, Shorty Award, Mountainfilm's Spirit Award, and a Daytime Emmy Award). It's about exploring today’s culture through character-driven storytelling that not only entertains but also connects and inspires.
In collaboration with Boardwalk Pictures, the brains behind 'Chef's Table' & 'Last Chance U', Cole birthed the award-winning feature documentary 'World Debut' for YouTube Originals. Cole delved into the subcultures of skateboarding, surfing, and climbing, charting their 20-year journey to the Olympic Games. The project, executive produced by skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, stands as a testament to Cole's knack for exploring today’s culture through bold, character-driven storytelling.
His commitment to impactful narratives has translated into tangible change, like spurring the development of India's first winter Olympic training facility through the award-winning series ‘Far From Home’ shining a light on Olympic hopefuls’ extraordinary journeys. This knack for storytelling with impact? It's ushered him to the TEDx stage, Young Presidents Organization and cultivated workshops globally with the U.S. Embassy. Add The Obama Foundation, Reach Higher, and Khan Academy to the mix, and you see a creator committed to authenticity.
Yet, beyond the films and the accolades lies a mission: To inspire brands, networks, and organizations to champion stories that don't just sell, but also shape our world for the better. When not behind the camera, you'll find Cole globetrotting, scaling mountains or skiing down them, playing basketball, or at a karaoke bar.
Because for Cole, life itself is a story waiting to be told. And he's here to tell it, one frame at a time.
NICE WORDS FROM NICE PEOPLE.
